Orleans Elementary School Fire Sprinkler Improvement Project :- Consisting of work required to achieve NFPA 25 compliance, including replacement of sprinkler heads, air compressor, pipe inspections, replacement of system gauges, and fire alarm interfaces, etc. A mandatory site visit is required to be considered. Location: Orleans Elementary School (OES), 46 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653 Work can start on July 1, 2026, and must be completed by August 14, 2026. Any questions must be submitted in writing to: procurement@town.orleans.ma.us. Estimated Cost: $80,000.00 General. The scope of work includes NFPA 25 fire sprinkler compliance replacement and investigative work. Base Scope of Work shall also include: a. Replacement of approximately 127 dry pendant sprinkler heads with nominal 12" spool piece attachments. The basis of design is a Reliance chrome head F3QR56, 12" "A" Dimension with an adjustable stainless steel escutcheon SIN R5714. Alternate manufacturers include Tyco, Victaulic and Viking. b. Replacement of the dry system's air compressor. The basis of design is a General Air L900A compressor, and an AMD-2 air maintenance device. Installation will include new piping, electrical connections, vibration isolation pads and secure mounting to the concrete slab. c. Internal pipe analysis of the dry pipe system. d. Internal pipe analysis of the wet pipe system. e. Replacement of Wet and dry system pressure gauges. f. Field inspection of existing systems is required as supplemental information, comprised of sprinkler plans and product data sheets are not available. g. Fire Alarm interface services to facilitate sprinkler work. h. Closeout documentation will include product data on newly installed equipment. i.
