The scope of work includes demolition of the existing gymnasium and auditorium air handling and condensing units, and installation of natural gas fired outdoor rooftop package units to provide heating and cooling for the gymnasium and auditorium. Ductwork will include connecting to existing duct for the auditorium and fabric duct for the gym. All work is to be included in a Single Prime contract. Instructions to bidders: Bidders must be properly licensed in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required. Bids may not be withdrawn or changed for 60 days after the scheduled closing time. The awarded vendor must comply with E-Verify requirements.
