Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The work in this contract consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment related to masonry repairs on North, East & South rear of building. Question Deadline 05/21/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Questions shall be directed to: Kristen Koolgaard, CDT kristen.koolgaard@greensboro-nc.gov Phone: (336) 373-7966 The work of the project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the following: 1. Remove and dispose of the exterior wythe of brick masonry above lintels at window heads, door heads, and louver heads at locations shown on the Drawings. 2. Remove and dispose of the existing severely corroded and deteriorated lintels at the second and third floors on the south elevation between Lines "N" and "P." Install new galvanized steel lintels. This work is included in the base bid and is not part of the unit price repairs. 3. Remove and dispose of existing damaged and deteriorated steel lintels at locations identified in the field by the Engineer. Install new galvanized steel angle lintel. See unit prices and allowances for additional information. 4. Install new helical brick ties at locations shown on the drawings and at other locations indicated in the field by the Engineer. Locations shown on the Drawings are included in the base bid. Locations identified in the field by the Engineer will be performed on a unit price basis. See unit prices and allowances for additional information. 5. Perform mortar repointing at all joints in brick masonry in accordance with Section 040120.64 "Brick Masonry Repointing." 6. Clean and coat all exposed steel lintels and other structural steel in accordance with Section 099600 "High-Performance Coatings." 7. Install new thru-wall flashing system at the head of all windows, doors, and louvers in accordance with Section 042613 "Masonry Veneer." 8. Install new helical crack stitch repairs at locations shown on the Drawings and at other locations identified in the field by the Engineer. Locations shown on the Drawings are included in the base bid. Locations identified in the field by the Engineer will be performed on a unit price basis. See unit prices and allowances for additional information. 9. Remove existing horizontal joint reinforcement that is corroded or does not have 5/8-inch minimum mortar cover. See unit prices and allowances for additional information. 10. Perform repairs to existing brick to include replacement of cracked and broken brick units, isolated crack repairs, and area-based crack repairs. See unit prices and allowances for additional information. 11. Remove and dispose of all existing sealant joints. This includes window perimeters, door perimeters, louver perimeters, and all other miscellaneous locations. Install new joint sealants and backer in accordance with Section 079200 "Joint Sealants" and applicable details. 12. Other work indicated in the Contract Documents
