Renovation of the UMKC Administrative Center entry to create ADA-compliant access to the building’s first floor. The scope includes construction of a new exterior ramp, new drive paving, new parallel parking and markings, and, at the vestibule, a new raised slab and new exterior and interior storefront systems. Pre-qualification requirements: General contractor prequalification is required due to the specialized scope, overall complexity, occupied environment, and challenging site conditions. Proven expertise in management, schedule control, and coordination to minimize disruption is necessary. Only bids from qualified general contractors will be accepted.
