Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Jamestown, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the rehabilitation of the City Hall 1.0 MG Elevated Water Storage Tank. Bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Bidders are advised to observe employment conditions and minimum wage rates under the contract, as well as requirements pertaining to Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Bid security must be deposited with each bid, in the amount, form, and subject to conditions outlined in the bidding documents. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. The Work consists of the rehabilitation of a 1,000,000 gallon Fluted Column Elevated Storage Tank (City Hall Tank) that involves repainting all interior and exterior surfaces, replacement of issues that currently exist on the tank, and replacement of tank lighting
