Description

The work includes providing SCADA System Integration Services for improvements to the Town’s wastewater facilities. The selected firm will program, configure, test, and commission SCADA system components associated with ongoing and future wastewater projects and on an as needed basis. Key elements include PLC programming, integration of control equipment into the existing SCADA system, development or modification of HMI graphics, configuring alarms and data logging, integrating communications between field devices and the SCADA system, support during testing and commissioning, preparation of documentation and backups, and training of Town staff. Instructions to bidders: Proposals must include a brief description of the firm and qualifications, relevant project experience, proposed project team, a description of the approach to SCADA integration and commissioning, and a fee proposal with hourly rates and estimated costs. Descriptions of at least three similar projects with client references should be provided. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, approach, and cost. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to negotiate with the selected firm. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
