Site work and paving for a road / highway in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project generally comprises milling and overlay of approximately 15,500 linear feet of Township roadways, road markings, base repair, installation of ADA curb ramps, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. Bids shall be effective for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. All materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Bulletin 15, Publication 242 and Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. The Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor as specified in Section 102.01 of Publication 408. The project will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding this project. Upper Merion Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
