The scope of the 2026 Storm Sewer Lining Project consists of approximately 900 linear feet of cured in place pipe lining of the selected storm sewers in West Chester Borough (Borough), Chester County, Pennsylvania. The work for this project consists of 5 phases. Phase 1 - Pre-Rehabilitation CCTV Inspection shall include televising each sewer segment to document existing conditions, identify active leaks, assess pipe deterioration, locate connections, and identify potential voids. Phase 2 - Structural Rehabilitation shall include rehabilitation of the 36-inch by 24-inch oval sewer using a structural curedin-place liner and rehabilitation of the 30-inch circular sewer using structural cured-in-place pipe lining. Phase 3 - Lateral Reinstatement shall include locating and reinstating all active storm sewer connections affected by the rehabilitation work at the completion of each workday or upon completion of each access structure-to-access structure section, whichever restores the connections sooner. Phase 4 - PostRehabilitation CCTV Inspection shall include televising each rehabilitated sewer segment to verify the completed liner and proper reinstatement of all connections. All storm infrastructure connected to the rehabilitated main shall be inspected for a minimum distance of 15 feet from the main. The limits of work are shown in Appendix A.
