The project involves the removal of marked trees within the Township Road Right-of-Way of several streets, Ironstone Park, Fritz Cemetery, and several State Route/Road Right-of-Ways, as well as tree trimming throughout the Township. Marked trees are to be removed to within 18 inches of grade, with trunks and branches over 6 inches in diameter cut in maximum 8-foot lengths and placed on individual property owners' land, as specified in the Township Ordinance. Trunks and branches smaller than 6 inches in diameter are to be removed off-site. Bidders must submit bid security and adhere to all requirements indicated within the project specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. All contracts exceeding $10,000 shall comply with Executive Order 11246, the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955, as amended. The Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, and delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items. No rights accrue to any person making a bid by reason of the submission of a bid or by waiver or non-enforcement of any provision of this invitation.
