This project involves the widening of Kings School Road for an auxiliary right turn lane. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing pavement, curbing, and pavement markings; full depth widening; unclassified bulk excavation and fine grading; adjustment of existing utilities; placement of new bituminous pavement; bituminous mill and overlay; traffic signal modifications; driveway adjustments; installation of new ADA ramps, sidewalk and curb; sign removal and replacement; line striping; storm sewer installation; traffic control; notifications and site restoration, complete in place. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid. Proposals must be submitted electronically via PennBid. Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount equal to ten percent of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee. The Municipality reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsive, qualified, and responsible Bidders for all or any portions of the work listed in the Proposal. The Municipality also reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and to waive any informality therein.
