The work includes the replacement of approximately 5,000 ft. of concrete curb and gutter, 585 square yards of driveways, 2,370 square feet of sidewalks including 21 ramps with detectable warnings, 1,370 square yards of Class C patching (8 inches), related construction, and restoration. Bidders must submit proposals in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the 2026 Curb Replacement Project. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount not less than 5% of the bid total. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in 100% of the contract amount or a letter of credit in a satisfactory form. Contractors are required to pay prevailing wages and meet the requirements of a 'Responsible Bidder' as defined by City Ordinance. Registration with the City's Community Development Department (with a $100 annual fee) is required, as is a current $10,000 license or permit bond. All curb and gutter work must be completed by August 28, 2026, and all other work, including Class C Patches, by October 23, 2026.
