Description

Renovation of a museum in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a museum.

As of May 05, 2026, bids received rejected as they were over the budget. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet. The City of Lake Geneva, WI is soliciting bids for the replacement of certain sections of roof at the Geneva Lake Museum, 255 Mill St. Lake Geneva, WI. Sealed bids must be submitted on the official bid forms, clearly marked with the project name, name of bidder, date, and opening time. Undated, unsigned, unsealed, late, incomplete, emailed, or faxed bids will not be considered. Hand delivery is advised. Bidders must submit a pre-qualification packet prior to the opening of bids through the City website. Bids will not be awarded until pre-qualification is approved. A 5% surety/bid bond is required. All bids shall be F.O.B. destination, prepaid and allowed to the Clerk's Office with no additional charges. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid deemed most advantageous. Bids must be made exclusive of federal excise tax and state sales tax. Bidders shall not contact any City staff or elected official other than those listed as a contact in the official project packet; violation of this will result in disqualification.
