Sealed bids are invited for the general contract for rehabilitation of Argonne Rd from Trent to Frederick. The scope of work includes HMA (hot mix asphalt), full-depth reclamation, cement concrete curb and sidewalk, pavement markings, signing, traffic signal system, traffic control, and fiber communications. Bidders must provide a certified or bank cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of Millwood, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company, with each bid. Successful bidders must enter into the contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond or forfeit their bid deposit. Bids not accompanied by required bid security or necessary documentation, or those that are incomplete or irregular, may be rejected.
