Site work and paving for a road / highway in Walton Hills, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bid proposals are requested for the Ryan-Ceile Reconstruction project. Each bid must include the full name(s) of the party or parties, an affidavit as to interested parties, and, for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a proper certificate of authorization to do business in Ohio. Proposals must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, or a certified or cashier's check for ten percent of the bid amount, payable to the Village of Walton Hills. The price of material and labor must be separately stated. Bid documents, specifications, and drawings are available for examination online, and to become a Registered Bidder, documents must be purchased from specified sources. Printed forms of Proposal must be used. All contractors and subcontractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements and applicable executive orders is mandatory. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Completion is required by September 30, 2026. Prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce apply. The council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the Village. Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or check will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the accepted bidder defaults by not entering into the contract.
