This project is to make finishes upgrades/updates to an existing Intake shower area within the Juvenile Services Center in Hastings, MN. This includes removal of existing wall tile, masonry, and installing new high build glazed coatings (HBGC) epoxy flooring, wall and ceiling finish in the Shower Room (141A) as well as new HBGC floor finish in the room 141. The project will also include removal and reinstall / replacement of existing combination WC /sink units and shower box with ADA accessible high / low shower heads. Removal and replacement of current existing shower room and bathroom accessories including but not limited to robe hook, grab bars, and mirror. In addition, finish upgrades the spaces requires repair & painting of the existing metal door, frame, & aluminum threshold to be replaced. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Prevailing wages are required on this project.
