Site work, paving and new construction of a transportation facility in Tower, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility.
The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Question Deadline 04/23/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than 3 business days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Major components of the Work include: excavation, site grading, aggregate base, bituminous paving, and construction of a new ranch hangar. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with U.S. Department of Labor and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. The City of Tower reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City of Tower.
