Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes construction of approximately 7,000 linear feet of 8" water main including service relays and transfers, and water main construction staking; installation of 210 linear feet of 8" and 10" sanitary sewer relay, 2,273.8 linear feet of 8", 10", 12", and 15" CIPP lining, including sanitary sewer lateral reconnections, sanitary spot repairs, and sanitary sewer manhole construction and replacement; 1,040.5 linear feet of 12" and 15" storm sewer construction including inlet leads, storm sewer laterals, storm sewer inlet construction, storm manhole removal, and storm manhole construction; 6,000 cubic yards of excavation, 5,500 linear feet of curb and gutter, 3,000 tons of crushed aggregate base course, 3,000 tons of breaker run, 10,300 tons of HMA pavement, 52,929 square yards of milling surface, 3,500 square feet of concrete sidewalk and driveway reconstruction; 190 square feet of cast iron curb ramp detectable warning field, and construction staking. All bidders shall provide proof of responsibility on the form furnished by the Director of Public Works and it shall be filed with the Director of Public Works not less than five days prior to the time set for opening of bids. Only Proposal Pages, Bid Bond, Affidavit of Compliance, Disclosure of Ownership, and any Addenda issued shall be submitted. Only proposals submitted by firms appearing on the City of Green Bay list of plan holders will be opened. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract and performance bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Bid service provided for that purpose and issued to the specific bidder by the Director of Public Works together a bid bond equal to at least five (5) but not more than ten (10) percent of the bid payable to the City of Green Bay as a guarantee that if his/her bid is accepted, he/she will execute and file the contract and a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. Only Proposals submitted by firms appearing on the City of Green Bay list of plan holders will be opened. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract and performance bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Construction staking for roadway milling, excavation, and paving shall be considered incidental to the contract. Contractor shall notify the Engineer prior to performing the construction staking for excavation and paving work. When underground utility is complete, the Contractor shall provide the City three (3) day notice for marking removals to the construction manager.
