Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work under this Contract shall consist of site grading and installation of underground utilities , including storm sewer , sanitary sewer , stormwater management systems , water services , and site restoration necessary to support all project facilities . Key structures include a restroom building and container bar , along with hardscape features such as concrete trails , paver plazas , and a riverfront plaza . Park lighting will be installed throughout the site to provide safety and functionality during evening hours . The project also includes construction of a custom playground , splash pad , dog park (Alternate Bid Item # 1), fitness court , volleyball courts , and an event lawn . Social and entertainment spaces , including the beer garden and container bar , will be integrated with durable site furnishings and landscaping . The work under this Contract includes construction of approximately 130 SY of pavement removal , 450 LF of fence removal , 20,000 SY of topsoil stripping , 3,100 CY of contaminated soil excavation , and 7,700 CY of borrow : 8,200 SY of erosion mat , 2,600 SY of polyethylene sheeting , 90 SY of turbidity barrier , and other erosion control measures ; contractor staking ; 140 LF of 8 - inch sanitary sewer and 317 LF of 6- inch sanitary sewer lateral installation ; 130 LF of 8 -inch storm sewer , 520 LF of 10 - inch storm sewer , 1,080 LF of 12- inch storm sewer , 130 LF of 15 - inch storm sewer , 430 LF of 18 - inch storm sewer , 60 LF of 24 - inch storm sewer , and 155 LF of 6 -inch perforated wrapped underdrain installation ; seven apron endwall installations for 12 - inch and 24 -inch pipe ; storm and sanitary manhole installation ; 212 LF of 4 -inch water main and 28 LF of 6-inch water main installation ; 2,440 TON of CABC , 565 LF of 24 - inch curb and gutter installation ; 25,000 SF of 6-inch concrete sidewalk and driveway ; 40 LF of sidewalk curb retaining wall ; 30 SY of HMA pavement , 8,500 SY of geotextile fabric ; 15,200 LF of conduit installation , including 45,000 LF of wiring , four panelboards , 29 receptacles , 51 light poles , and 87 luminaires ; hauling and disposal of 550 TON of contaminated soil ; 123 SF of concrete stairs ; two wooden platforms ; playground equipment ; volleyball sand and equipment ; splash pad equipment and boulders ; building installation , decorative sheet wall installation , 4,200 SF of pavers ; 2,485 SF of limestone screenings ; 74,650 SF of poured -in-place play surfacing ; guardrails ; site furnishings ; and final restoration . The work under Alternate Bid Item # 1 shall consist of removing base bid materials and amenities and , in lieu thereof , completing earthwork and restoration for the area shown on the drawings and identified as the Dog Park Alternate . The work under Altemate Bid Item # 2 shall consist of furnishing and installing sport court lighting for the volleyball courts .The work under Altemate Bid Item # 3 shall consist of deducting base bid materials in the Upland Area , including native vegetated mat , stabilized limestone screenings , and select boulders . In lieu thereof , lawn seed shall be installed . The work under Alternate Bid Item #4 shall consist of furnishing and installing metal benches , Type 1 receptacles , bike racks , drink ledges , three -top tables , four -top tables , and picnic tables . The work under Altemate Bid Item # 5 shall consist of furnishing and installing removable bollards . bid service provided for that purpose and issued to the specific bidder by the Director of Public Works together a bid bond equal to at least five (5 ) but not more than ten ( 10 ) percent of the bid payable to the City of Green Bay as a guarantee that if his / her bid is accepted , he/ she will execute and file the contract and a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent ( 100 % ) of the total bid within ten (10 ) days after the award of the contract . The City of Green Bay , Wisconsin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bidding . No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the City of Green Bay , Wisconsin for a period of sixty (60 ) days after the scheduled time for closing bids .
