The project is for a full modernization of the existing building elevator and associated components at the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District Administration Building. The purpose is to address the non-operational elevator, extend its life, and improve dependability and serviceability. The elevator contractor or supplier must assess the existing elevator and its components to determine the extent of repair and replacement required, and also perform other work indicated in the drawings and specifications. The Owner reserves the right to select all, a portion, or none of the projects to execute at the end of the bidding period. A single contractor will be selected unless otherwise negotiated. A payment and performance bond as outlined in Division 01 is required. Instructions to bidders include that bid documents are available electronically through QuestCDN.com. Prospective bidders are urged to register on the designated website to ensure they receive official notifications and addenda. Bid security of not less than 5% of the bid is required. The selected bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each equal to the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid that best serves the interests of the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after bid opening without Owner's consent.
