Description

Demolition and site work for a military facility in Jackson, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

Under an Interagency Agreement, demolition, removal, and related activities will be conducted at one Non-directional Beacon (NDB) facility in Jackson, TN and one Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) facility in Bowling Green, KY in the FAA's Eastern Service Area. The FAA no longer uses the buildings or equipment at these facilities and plans to remove environmental hazards, demolish or remove onsite structures and infrastructure, and restore disturbed areas. The Contractor shall conduct all work in accordance with Federal, State and local requirements, following the most stringent requirement where inconsistencies exist. The Contractor shall prepare and submit a draft Demolition, Removal, and Restoration Work Plan detailing the technical approach and schedule for all demolition, debris removal, disposal, and site restoration activities.
