The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, renovation of existing main office space and nurse suite. Work includes all finishes, wall and door layouts, electrical, lighting, HVAC, window replacement, and hazardous abatement. The project also includes alteration of existing exterior concrete entry ramps and railings to make them accessible. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids will be received as a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories: (C008) General Construction or (C009) General Construction/Alterations/Additions. Bidders must also be prequalified for, or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for, the following classifications: (C030) Plumbing, (C032) HVACR, and (C047) Electrical. Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of work must be prequalified by the DPMC. A Certificate of Prequalification/Classification from DPMC and Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for the Bidder and all listed subcontractors must be submitted. No modifications to the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions, or Specifications will be permitted prior to bid acceptance except as may be allowed by addenda. Bids proposing modifications to the requirements will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. An Initial Project Workforce Report (Form AA-201) is required from the successful Contractor. A statement of ownership, affidavits, and various certifications are required as specified in the bid instructions, and all associated requirements under relevant New Jersey statutes must be met. Bids must be accompanied by bid security as specified.
