New vendors should use the Public Purchase link provided on the Hawaii County government webpage or go to the Public Purchase website to initiate the registration process. Bids are to be submitted via the Public Purchase System. Confidential material must be readily separable from the bid to facilitate public inspection of the non-confidential portion of the bid. The work/delivery is to be performed on Hawaii Island. Completion: 45 Consecutive Calendar Days from NTP. Every reouest for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to CHIEF .ENGINEER., DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, at 25 AUFUNI STREET, HILO. HAWAII 96720. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK A. The Base Bid scope of work generally consists of: The demolition, and disposal of reinforced concrete and metal barrier railings for bin bays 2, 3, and 4. The placement of new concrete pavement with rebar dowels and the installation of new painted barrier railings in bin bays 2, 3, and 4 by coring and grouting in new concrete pavement.
