This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Poulsbo, Washington. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The City of Poulsbo Public Works Engineering Division seeks to complete a planning study to consider options and alternatives for realigning 8th Avenue near the intersection of Lincoln Rd and Iverson St in Poulsbo. The project, funded by a Rural Town Centers and Corridors (RTCC) program grant, involves a partnership between the City of Poulsbo and Kitsap Transit, coordinating on street and intersection improvements and realignments. The study will address the intersection's current operation at LOS F with long pedestrian crossing distances and geometric constraints. The study will evaluate solutions to improve circulation by eliminating or improving the existing intersection, with specific focus on increasing the level of service (LOS), increasing queuing distance for SR305, improving pedestrian and non-motorized facilities, enhancing safety due to multiple local roads and driveway intersections, and considering a high capacity transit (HCT) mobility hub in the area. Consulting firms with experience in road layout and design are sought to submit statements of qualifications. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
