Sealed bids are requested for Charles Baker Pavement Improvements Phase 2 - Construction. Bids must be submitted to the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Procurement Department. The Bid Documents, which include the description of the scope of work, required response format, and additional instructions, are available online. Bidders must be licensed contractors in Tennessee and provide a 5% Bid Guarantee. The successful bidder must execute Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and meet a Small Business Participation Program participation goal of 16%. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive informalities, technicalities, or omissions, and to reject responses per its purchasing policies. Discrimination is prohibited in hiring, employment practices, and program access on the basis of age, race, sex, color, national origin, disability, marital status, military service, or sexual orientation. For this Contract, the SBPP goal is established as 16%. In order to be responsive, a Respondent must either meet the goal or make good faith efforts to do so. Good faith efforts are defined in Appendix A to 49 CFR Part 26 and discussed in the following section. Question Deadline 04/28/2026 If, during the bidding period Bidder finds discrepancies, ambiguities, omissions, or is in doubt as to meaning or intent of Contract Documents, notify the Owner or Engineer not less than seven (7) days prior to Bid Date.
