Asbestos abatement and renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Central City, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 46,555-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility; and for asbestos abatement for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

Phase one: (2,609 square feet) This phase will consist of the decoupling of the existing long-term care portion of the building from the existing hospital portion mechanically and electrically per plans. Phase two: (18,755 square feet) this portion of the project will be completed after all the MEP items have been decoupled from the hospital approved and tested. The hospital will then be demolished; all asbestos will be abated by the Owner and certified prior to the building demolition. Phase three: (25,191 square feet) the renovation portion of the long-term care portion of the building will take place during or after the hospital portion is demolished. This portion of the project will be completed in at least two parts to be determined by the Owner and per plans. Sealed bids are being accepted for the removal and disposal of asbestos at the Litzenberg Memorial County Long Term Care Facility. Bids must be in strict accordance with the Asbestos-Containing Material Scope of Work prepared by B2 Environmental, Inc., and should include a bid for each phase of Task I and Task 2. Each bid over $5,000.00 must include an acceptable Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check payable to Litzenberg Memorial County Long Term Care Facility in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that, if awarded, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute any required bonds. Bids without the required bid security will not be considered. Bids should be submitted to the Merrick County Clerk's Office.
