Replacing the existing gymnasium roof and insulation to ensure structural integrity, alongside an upgrade of all mechanical systems and the electrical infrastructure required to support them. PROJECT ESTIMATE: $3,750,000.00 ROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: The District has entered into a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) that is applicable to this Project. To bid on this Project Bidder is required to: (1) possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): A or B, and the license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract; and (2) be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code, and remain active throughout the term of the Contract. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal. After the end of the protest period, contractor will be provided with a "Notice of Pending Award" and all contract documents, and request the contractor have contract documents complete, submitted and ready for execution on the Board award date of: 07/20/2026. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
