The project includes 2,750 SY of salvaging and regrading existing asphalt pavement, 2,750 SY of asphalt pavement, 1,400 LF of gravel shouldering, traffic control, erosion control, cleanup, and all related work. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting specified requirements. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
