New construction of an educational facility in Altus, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
The work involves the rebid for Bid Package 09B Painting for new construction at the Altus Public Schools, L. Mendel Rivers Elementary, located at Altus Air Force Base, 3000 N. Veterans Drive, Altus, OK 73521. There will be no painting of any existing structures, as the project is all new construction. Bidders are instructed to submit bids in a sealed envelope to the Altus Public Schools Board of Education Building, 219 N. Lee Street, Altus, OK 73521, by the specified date and time. Each envelope must be clearly marked with “SEALED BID,” the project name, closing date, bidder’s name, and return address. Bidders must submit a Contractor’s Qualification Statement (AIA A305), provide a Bid Bond for bids over $50,000, and include the cost of Payment & Performance Bonds in the base bid amount. All bids must be on the provided bid form, be irrevocable for 60 days, and include a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit, and Bid Bond (if applicable). Bidders must obtain bidding documents directly from the Construction Manager, Miller-Tippens Construction, to be registered as potential bidders and receive all clarifications and addenda. Electronic documents are available free of charge to potential bidders. Altus Public Schools reserves the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any or all bids.
