The contractor shall provide construction services for fencing projects throughout the Hampton Roads, Virginia Area of Responsibility under a Regional Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract. The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation, repair, and replacement of various types of fencing systems at existing and new government sites. This includes high-security and anti-terrorism force protection fencing, security fences and gates used to define perimeters of restricted and controlled areas, entry control and access control points, and installation perimeters designed to deter and prevent unauthorized access. The scope also encompasses installation of ASTM F2656-18a certified vehicle barriers, bollards and bollard arrays, dead men and wire rope systems, digital keyless and card reader entry systems, grounding systems, concrete barriers with fencing, and underground tunneling prevention measures. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety measures, surveys, layout, quality control, traffic control, and management necessary to perform task orders issued under the contract. Work will be administered by the applicable Public Works Department or Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at each base location. The total estimated magnitude of construction for this contract (base period plus option years) is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The duration of the contract will be for a five (5) year ordering period from the date of contract award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
