Sealed Bids for the Soundside Event Site Pickleball Courts will be received at the Dare County Administration Building in Manteo, NC. Complete project documents are available digitally at no cost from the County of Dare website. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to check the website for addenda prior to submission of a bid. All Contractors submitting bids shall possess a valid North Carolina Contractor's License. A Certificate of General Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000) and proof of workers compensation insurance shall be attached to each bid for consideration. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit equal to 5% of the net price bid, which may be cash, cashier's check, or a 5% Bid Bond. The successful bidder must furnish a payment and performance and materialman's bond from a surety company authorized to do business in North Carolina for the full amount of the contract price prior to execution of the contract. The successful bidder will have ninety (90) calendar days from the date of contract Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Dare County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
