Questions regarding this bid may be directed to the City of Superior as follows: Project specifications: Andrew Rausch, ESD, rauscha@superiorwi.gov; 715-394-0392 The City of Superior is requesting proposals for sewer televising services on behalf of the Environmental Services Division offices located at 51 East 1st Street, Superior, Wisconsin. The requested work will be performed in one service area with District 6 as one contract. Piping to be televised is reinforced concrete pipe, Riches concrete pipe, vitrified clay pipe, polyvinyl chloride, and brick pipe with a diameter of 8 inches to 36-inch circular pipe totaling 3.98 miles. The majority of District 6 has been cleaned in 2023. The City will communicate to the selected contractor its cleaning schedule and will work to the best of its ability to address cleaning needs with the contractor. Additionally, an incentive has been added to the contract terms and is payable to the Contractor if the milestone is met within the original contract terms; see the sample Contractor Contract (Section 10) for details on the incentive. Proposals for CCTV services without defect coding (video recording of traversing specified pipes without defect coding) of the listed sewer pipes for this contract will be accepted as Base Bid. The services shall be performed under the direction of an ESD Engineering Technician. The date and time of services shall be during the months of May-September and shall be performed during normal business hours (8:00-4:30), Monday through Friday, excluding May 25th, July 3rd, and September 7th. Adjustments may be made to this schedule where such changes are agreed to by both parties. The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish all the applicable labor, materials, equipment, necessary tools, expendable equipment, insurance provided by the specifications, contributions to social security and all utility and transportation services required to perform and complete in a workmanlike manner the following work: Bid Project: The purpose of this Agreement is to evaluate approximately 3.98 miles of sanitary sewer of the collection system located in District 6. District 6 area is approximately between Arrowhead Bridge Road & Susquehanna Avenue and between Belknap Street & North 24th Street. Televising will be in compliance with the Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) as administered by National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO). The services shall be performed under the direction of an ESD Engineering Technician. The date and time of services shall be during the months of May-September and shall be performed during normal business hours (8:00-4:30) Monday through Friday, excluding May 25th, July 3rd, and September 7th.
