The City of Country Club Hills is accepting bids for grass cutting on vacant and noncompliant properties within the city limits. There are five different lot sizes, and the bid must include a dollar amount for each size lot: R-0 (15,000 sq. ft.), R-1 (10,000 sq. ft.), R-2 (8,400 sq. ft.), R-3 (7,200 sq. ft.), and R-4 (6,600 sq. ft.). The successful bidder must be available on a regular basis and complete mowing within 48 hours upon contact from the City Building Department. Mowing is to be performed only with authorization from the City. The bid price must include mowing the lawn, removing weeds from cracks in driveways, sidewalks, and curbs, trimming all growth at fence lines, around trees and buildings, trimming bushes as needed, sweeping and raking all grass and debris from the pavement, and disposing of grass clippings. Invoices require address listing, date of work, and before and after time-stamped pictures. Only work authorized by the inspector will be paid. All contractors must be licensed with the City and provide necessary insurance.
