The improvements will consist of pre-construction cleaning and televising, and installation of cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 10,167 LF of 8" and 2,705 LF of 10" sanitary sewers, along with all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and all other applicable standards. Each bidder's proposal must be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of a Bid Bond as outlined within the bid package. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and the contractor must ensure no discrimination in employment due to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. In addition to complying with prevailing wage rates, bidders must provide proof of enrollment, registered and certified with the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training, Office of Apprenticeship, in an Apprenticeship Program if the proposal amount exceeds $100,000. If proof of enrollment is not received with an applicable proposal, it shall not be accepted unless no other responsible bidder's proposal is received with proof of enrollment and within the contract budget. Bids must be clearly marked as indicated and the Village reserves the right to determine the low, responsible bid, waive irregularities, or reject any or all proposals. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of qualifications prior to awarding the contract. Owner will receive Bidder Questions until 12:00 p.m., local time, April 27, 2026.
