Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Vegreville, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 6.1 m single span PG type girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a new 2400 mm diameter CSP culvert with a 22.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on a local road over a watercourse, 2 km NE of Vegreville. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing Water Management Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Excavation CSP with Couplers Supply CSP Assembly Backfill Roadway Work Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barriers (Straw Fibre Rolls) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Documents can be obtained from https://mpaeng.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award is subject to final approval.
