The proposed contract will complete Silviculture surveys in the Dawson Creek Timber Supply Area, covering a project size of 45 blocks, approximately 2,286 hectares and requiring the completion of approximately 2,020 plots. Blocks are located primarily in the Ojay and Red Willow area. Survey types include Free Growing and Survival surveys. The contract will also include layout for brushing and fill-planting units. Access will be via truck, ATV, or walk-in, with roads being gravel or overgrown with vegetation. The contractor should expect challenging ATV access conditions into blocks via deactivated access and block roads, with some areas being remote and requiring long drives. Submissions must be submitted using one of the following delivery methods: BC Bid Electronic Submission (for pre-authorized electronic bidders registered on the BC Bid system) or hard copy Tender submitted to the specified Closing Location.
