The work will involve the constructionof a paved pad, which will fit 2 pickleball courts and the installation of all related improvements including a chain link perimeter fence, walking path for pedestrian access, court nets and line painting, bench, and picnic table. In general, the contractor shall be responsible for the following work under this contract: A. Contacting and coordinating all work with utilities in the area. B. Obtaining the necessary building permit(s). C. Maintaining a safe and secure work site. D. Mobilization and demobilization. E. Horizontal and vertical location and avoidance of existing utilities within the Work Area. F. All layout and staking. G. All clearing and grubbing. H. Providing all material, equipment, and labor for constructing all improvements as shown on the drawings and described herein. I. Providing all material, equipment, and labor for dewatering as necessary. J. The removal and disposal of all waste material to an appropriate disposal location. K. Protecting the Work Area from erosion and sediment pollution control. L. Coordination with municipal and regulatory agencies as necessary. M. Keeping the existing facilities open and operational during construction. N. Maintenance and protection of vehicular and pedestrian traffic during construction. Restoration of disturbed surfaces, seeding, landscaping, and stabilization. P. Providing as-built drawings of all work. Paradise Township/PARC will accept sealed bids online for the construction and installation of two pickleball courts and related improvements at Seven Pines Park in Paradise Township, Pennsylvania. The work involves the construction of a paved pad to fit two pickleball courts and the installation of all related improvements including a chain link perimeter fence, walking path for pedestrian access, court nets and line painting, bench, and picnic table. Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 10%. The project is expected to be awarded to the qualified, responsible contractor or bidder submitting the lowest base bid as determined to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to award the project to any bidder and/or to accept or reject any and all bids (or portions thereof) in the best interest of the Owner. The project shall be substantially complete by June 26, 2026, and final completion shall be no later than 4 p.m. on July 17, 2026, or be subject to a penalty equal to any project grant funding lost plus $200 for each day after the specified completion date.
