Sealed proposals are requested for various materials including: 50 tons (more or less) of 1BW stone (AASHTO #8) FOB or Delivered, 1000 tons (more or less) of 2A modified FOB or Delivered, 50 tons (more or less) of 2B stone (AASHTO #57) FOB or Delivered, 1000 tons (more or less) of 2RC stone FOB or Delivered, 500 tons (more or less) of #4 Ballast stone (AASHTO #1) FOB or Delivered, 100 tons (more or less) of Rip-rap stone (AASHTO R-4) FOB or Delivered, 1200 tons (more or less) of Anti Skid (3A) FOB or Delivered, 100 tons (more or less) of ID-2 Top 9.5 mm wearing FOB ONLY, and 75 tons (more or less) of Binder 25 mm binder FOB ONLY. Bid items 1 - 7 must include a price delivered and FOB supplier's plant; items 8 - 9 must be FOB only. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked. Successful bidders must enter a written contract and provide a performance bond for fifty percent of the contract within twenty days, as well as certificates of liability and workers' compensation insurance. All bids require a certified check or bid bond for ten percent of the bid. Bids must be submitted on Township forms. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept bids by line item, and reject any bid for materials not acceptable to the Roadmaster. All materials must comply with PennDOT Pub. 408.
