Site work for a mixed-use development in Penn Yan, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are solicited for Contract No. 1 - County Route 15 (Pre-Emption Road) Drainage Improvement Project. The scope includes the replacement and relining of storm drainage along Pre-Emption Road and replacement of the sidewalk crossing over the Unnamed Tributary to Kashong Creek. The existing sidewalk bridge will be demolished, and the sidewalk will be reconstructed adjacent to the roadway over the existing culvert. LOCATION OF THE WORK The work under Contract No. 1 for County Route 15 (Pre-Emption Road) Drainage Improvement Project is located along Pre-Emption Road in the Hamlet of Bellona between the crossroads of Toomey Road and Rice Road in the Town of Benton, Yates County, New York. Bids must be accompanied by security of not less than five percent of the bid amount. Bidders are instructed not to include sales or compensating use taxes on materials to be incorporated into the work. Compliance with employment conditions and minimum wage rates is required. Bidders must not be deemed a 'Non-Responsible Entity' by the New York State Office of General Services, and must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor for the project's duration. The right is reserved to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. Completion- August 30, 2026.
