Work includes but is not limited to: - The replacement of the steel doors and frames identified in the plans; - The complete repair of access ramps and concrete staircases identified in the plans; - The supply and installation of stainless steel handrails; - The repair of paved areas identified in the plans; - The repair of the roughcast on the foundations affected by the work; - The restoration of the land following the work; - The temporary protections required, if any; - Any other work described in the structural engineer's plans; - Any other related work. The work covered by this contract includes all work for the replacement of doors and access ramps from Saint-Isidore and Langevin schools at the 641 and 652 St-Regis sites in Saint-Isidore de La Prairie. WORK SCHEDULE AND CONTRACT DURATION The Contract comes into force on the date mentioned in the notice of awarding of the contract or, failing that, on the day on which the PUBLIC BODY issues the notice of awarding to the CONTRACTOR. The work will be carried out during the summer season and according to the school calendar of the Service Center from June 25 to August 21, 2026 inclusive. 1. The work must begin on June 25, 2026. 2. Receipt of the works with reservations, no later than August 14, 2026. 3. Date of receipt without reservation of all works, no later than 21 August 2026. The contractor must respect the schedule prescribed in the CSSDGS contract documents. Given the nature of the contract, it remains in force as long as the CONTRACTOR has not carried out the Work to the satisfaction of the PUBLIC BODY and that there are still warranty obligations to be met. TENDER GUARANTEE The BIDDER must accompany its Submission with a tender guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total price proposed in its Submission. This tender guarantee must be produced in the following form: - A surety bond issued in favour of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.13 of the Board, which must comply with the provisions of the submission bond template reproduced in Appendix 4.01A of the Submission Form.
