The Housing Authority of the County of Little River, Arkansas is accepting sealed bids from qualified and certified FORTIFIED Roofing Contractors to replace roofs on 77 apartment buildings located in Foreman and Ashdown, Arkansas. Contractors may secure copies of the proposed contract documents at no charge, with bid documents sent electronically upon request. Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the contract documents or by the Public Housing Authority, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the name and address of the bidder, contract job number, date and time of bid opening, and labeled "IFB for Fortified Roofing Services." A performance and payment bond in the full amount of the contract is required for contract security. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified responsive bidder, but the owner reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids. Bidders must comply with all public bid laws of the State of Arkansas. Small, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
