Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Cabot, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The major improvements for the project will generally consist of the following: 1. Replacement of 3-8'x4' RCBs crossing Kerr Station Road 2. Concrete lining of an existing ditch from Kerr Station Road to Barnwell Drive 3. Installation of a temporary detour route. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Cabot, Arkansas, negotiable U.S.Government bonds (at par value), or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Cabot reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding to the extent allowed by law. Bids may be held by the City of Cabot for a period not to exceed sixty(60) days following opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the contract. Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost is $950,000.
