Site work and paving for a road / highway in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of 49th North, Ammon Rd to 45th East. Digital copies of the bidding documents are available by contacting the design engineer, with a refundable deposit required for printed sets. The County has secured a portion of the right-of-way, with further detail in the special provisions, and is prepared to accept bids and begin construction. Bids must be submitted on the required bid tabulation form and include a single bid bond of 5%. The County will evaluate bids based on cost and inconvenience to the traveling public. A performance bond will be required from the apparent low bidder before the contract is officially awarded. All questions and communications regarding the project must be directed to the Engineer before the bid opening. Each bidder must have appropriate licenses for work in Idaho before the bid opening. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, postpone the contract award for up to sixty days, and accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the best interest of the Owner. All questions and communications relative to this project shall be directed to the Engineer prior to opening of the Bid Proposals.
