Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; service station / car wash facility; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work consists principally of rehabilitation and improvements to the existing Brighton Town Hall facility site located at 2300 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. Key elements of the project include site demolition; removal and replacement of pavement; stormwater system improvements; existing sanitary lateral replacement; improved accessibility; redesign of pavement and concrete walkways, sidewalks; lighting improvements; electrical improvements; EV Charger installations; select grading; granite curbing (new and reinstalled); tree removal; entrance improvements; and work within the Monroe County right of way (Elmwood Avenue). The project site serves three interconnected buildings: Brighton Memorial Library, Brighton Town Hall, and Brighton Police/Courts. The Library and Police/Courts will remain occupied and operational during site construction. The Town Hall phase I renovations are expected to finish by end of August. The project will use multiple construction phases to minimize disturbance to site operations. Minimum available parking spaces will be defined in the contract documents. The contractor must provide safe, minimally disruptive site operations for visitors, personnel, and staff as specified. One single contract for General Construction will be awarded, with all other work to be subcontracted by the awarded contractor as required. CR#:2133924 Physically complete all project Work by May 31, 2027 Question Deadline 04/23/2026 No oral interpretation, made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof, shall be valid or binding upon the Owner. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner. To be given consideration, all inquiries must be received by the Owner seven (7) or more calendar days prior to the date set for the receipt of Bids so that all valid RFIs can be combined into an addendum prior to Bid Opening.
