The project involves construction of a 24,147-linear-foot, 18-inch sewer force main from a new lift station being constructed under a separate contract to the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant, along with rerouting 153-linear feet of 10-inch force main. The project aims to transport wastewater flow to the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond on the prescribed form, payable to City of Osceola, Arkansas in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The bid proposal and work must comply with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. Bidders are responsible for downloading bid documents and any addenda from the noted online plan room to be included in the Plan Holders List and must confirm receipt of all addenda in their proposal. The Owner may reject any bid with material omissions, irregularities, or unbalanced unit prices, or any bid not conforming to bidding requirements and contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, choose the most qualified bidder, and postpone award of the contract for up to 90 days from the bid opening date.
