The City of Laredo, Texas, Department of Community Development, Housing Rehabilitation Program is requesting bids for the rehabilitation of the following jobs: HRL 11-201-4719, HRL 11-201-4725, HRL 11-201-4737. Copies of plans and specifications are available at no cost to prospective bidders at 1301 Farragut Street, 2nd Floor - East Wing. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the City Secretary Department at the City Hall Building, 1110 Houston Street, 3rd Floor, Laredo, Texas. The City of Laredo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities. In order to bid on a rehabilitation job, interested contractors must meet the following requirements: Provide references of fiscal responsibility (e.g., bank references) Provide references from at least four subcontractors used in previous jobs Provide references from two material suppliers Provide the names and addresses of three previous customers and letters of satisfactory performance Carry public liability and property damage insurance with a minimum of $100,000 coverage These projects will be 100% federally funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
