The Housing Authority of the City of Laredo, Texas (the "Laredo Housing Authority"," LHA" or "Agency") is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured contractors (hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor") to provide construction services for storage room repairs at the Colonia Guadalupe property located at 2000 San Francisco Avenue, Laredo, TX 78040. Each storage room is located on the exterior of the dwelling unit and may require different repairs depending on inspection findings and site conditions. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidental items necessary to complete the work in a professional and workmanlike manner. Unless otherwise specified, materials shall be furnished by the LHA. The property site map is attached herein as Attachment A, and the floor plans are attached herein as Attachment B.. The Contractor shall perform storage room repairs asdirected by the LHA. All work shall comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Work may include, but is not limited to, the following Installation of corner trim for storage room. Repair of damaged exterior walls by completing the installation of wood fillers, backer board, and plaster. Painting of all repaired exterior walls. Repair of backer board for fascia by completing the installation of new 2-ft by 4-ft backer board, including soffit joists or fingers as needed. Repair of damaged fascia by completing the installation of new fascia board and new drip edge over fascia. Painting of all new fascia board, including the application of caulking. Repair of soffit by completing the installation of new soffit sheets, as needed. Painting of newly installed soffit sheets. Repair of trim by completing the installation of new trim boards. Painting of newly installed trim boards. Repair of wall vent flaps by installing new wall vent flaps, including the sealing and surrounding painting. Repair of roof plywood by installing new roof plywood. Repair of roof shingles by installing new roof shingles. Repair of flat roof by installing new plywood, Thermotek base sheet, Thermotek cap sheet, and all necessary components for a completed sealed finish. Removal and disposal of existing storage room door and trim. Installation of new storage room door, trim, and hinges. Reinstallation of existing door hardware onto new doors. Painting of newly installed storage room doors. Daily clean up and disposal of debris
