Demolition and site work for a military facility in Los Alamitos, California. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a 12,373-square-foot, two-story above grade military facility.
As of April 28th, 2026, this bid has been cancelled and is being combined with the Building 58 Demolition project (IFB 127350). The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to lead and asbestos containing materials (ACM) and complete the demolition of Building 59 and disposal of all associated site utilities. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of the Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed and must include the IFB number, project name, and Contractor Business Name in the subject line. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk and may be disqualified for late arrival or not remaining for the full duration. The Prime Contractor must possess either a C-21 (Building Moving/Demolition Contractor) or B (General Building Contractor) license and subcontract a C-22 (Asbestos Abatement Contractor) license, as issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board. All questions must be submitted by the specified deadline, referencing the IFB number in the subject line.
