The Department of Management Services requests qualifications from engineering firms to provide professional mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. These services may include, but are not limited to, new construction and renovations associated with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, building control systems, plumbing, fire protection, power systems, lighting, low voltage and medium voltage service, fire alarm facility assessment reports, cost estimates, and life cycle cost analysis. Firms must be currently licensed and registered in the State of Florida at the time of submittal. Plans and specifications for projects may be reused when updated in accordance with all applicable codes and standards. The relative ability of a firm to perform the services required shall be determined utilizing the evaluation criteria set forth in the evaluation scoring form. At least three firms, or all firms if fewer than three submit responses, deemed to be the most highly qualified to perform the required services based on scores received, shall be selected for an interview and presentation and posted in order of preference on the Vendor Information Portal (VIP) website.
