Reference Number 0000420447 As part of Phase I, the City and the Ponderosa Homeowners Association (HOA) seek a successful bidder to install rooftop solar on the first 11 stick-built homes (one home was built with rooftop solar as part of a design competition) and eight modular homes (four duplexes). As part of the proposal, the bidder will describe any additional incentives, credits, rewards, or other opportunities to lower the overall cost of the project to the HOA and residents. The Ponderosa HOA will own the rooftop solar on behalf of the residents in a structure similar to a HOA owning and being responsible for maintenance of a roof or other common element. The goal is to achieve maximum utility of the rooftop solar installation.
