Site work for a water / sewer project in Tampa, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will rehabilitate the existing seawall on the east side of the airfield at Peter O. Knight Airport. The project consists of repairs to the seven existing outfall pipes within the alignment, including pipe section and headwall replacements; backfill with earth and flowable fill of approximately forty-eight washout locations identified to date; addressing major and minor seawall failure in areas where cracks expose rebar, including cleaning, applying corrosion inhibitors, saw cutting and removal of adjoining concrete, tie-back supports as necessary, backfill and recompaction of voids, installation of sheet pilings, and installation of a new concrete cap and tie-back; and repair of seawall spall by routing and cleaning the crack then filling the void with trowel-applied mortar. Location- 825 Severn Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. The Work specified as Mobilization consists of preparatory work and operations in mobilizing for beginning work on the Project, including, but not limited to, those operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to the Project site, building permit costs, and for the establishment of temporary offices, building facilities, utilities, safety equipment and first aid supplies, sanitary and other facilities, as required by these Contract Documents and State and local laws and regulations. The costs of bonds and all required insurance and other preconstruction expense necessary for the start of the Work, excluding the cost of construction materials, will also be included in Mobilization. Substantial Completion within 142 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
